Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Implement asset management standard process across sites by providing maintenance spare management standard, training, audits, analysis and improvement program to support site asset maintenance and operation
• Collaborate with Site Operations team in term of all equipment purchases based on guiding principles for equipment selection by standardizing of equipment
• Coordinate, and enhance the implementation of routine management processes within maintenance areas
• Identify improvement requirement per site to ensure maintenance business process, Electrical system and role holder capacity compliance
• Ensure that all significant electrical equipment damages related to maintenance issues are thoroughly investigated and documented as references for continuous improvement, and that the findings are shared across all

Requirements:

• Minimum bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering
• Minimum 3 years of experience in related field
• Proven experience in maintenance management within mining or heavy industry
• Strong knowledge of mining and plant equipment (Ballmill, Crusher, Kiln, Furnace, Compressors)
• Demonstrated skills in MRO management
• Proficiency in maintenance software (SAP, PRONTO, QlikView, Optimum, etc)
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and project management skills

Tailing Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical advice and review related to TSF design and implementation
• Involve in review of geotechnical investigation, geomorphology of TSF, hydrology and hydrogeology, value added on review site specific refer to requirement of Indonesia technical guideline for dams
• Review and Support the development of construction sequences, QA/QC plans, and technical specifications
• Conduct and review stability analysis for embankments and tailings deposition plans
• Ensure compliance with Indonesia Regulation, GISTM, ICOLD/ANCOLD, Indonesian Tailings Dam Guidelines, Standard National Indonesia (SNI)
• Support permitting and compliance activities related to B3 hazardous materials for technical aspect
• Collaborate with consultants and internal teams for design and project execution of TSF facility
• Technical adviser on civil/geotechnical engineering of Projects within Merdeka Group

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Geotechnical Engineering (Master’s preferred)
• Minimum 10 years experience with 5 years of experience in Tailings Storage Facility and Infrastructure projects
• Understanding of geotechnical modelling and TS design standards
• Advanced proficiency in 12D or Civil 3D, MS Excel, and Power Point
• Good understanding of B3 hazardous material regulations
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written (English proficiency is a must)
• Possession of Large Dam Certification is an advantage

Project Management & Improvement

Responsibilities:

• Develop comprehensive project plans and manage budgets, resources, and timelines, including monitoring project progress, risks, and performance metrics.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution, supporting organizational change through structured communication and adoption strategies (Management of Change).
• Identify and lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance maintenance business process efficiency, ensuring compliance with organizational standards and workforce capacity.
• Collaborate with maintenance and operations teams to translate business needs into data-driven maintenance strategies and process improvements.
• Monitor and control overall asset performance, providing analytical insights and recommendations to optimize maintenance practices and improve equipment reliability.
• Implement standardized and streamlined reporting systems to monitor performance, evaluate maintenance strategy effectiveness, and track improvement program implementation.
• Work closely with reliability and maintenance engineers to assess asset performance data, identify performance gaps, and recommend targeted corrective actions.
• Ensure alignment between project execution, cost efficiency, and corporate objectives to drive Operation Excellence.
• Support the implementation of best practices such as TPM (Total Productive Maintenance), Six Sigma, and Kaizen to enhance productivity, quality, and asset performance.
• Foster a culture of safety, quality, and innovation within maintenance and project improvement teams.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree (S1) in Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in maintenance, project management, or improvement-related roles within the mining, smelter, or processing plant industry.
• Strong understanding of maintenance work management standards.
• Proven experience in handling mining, smelter, and processing plant equipment.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Project.
• Solid knowledge of TPM, Six Sigma, and Kaizen methodologies.
• Willing to be placed in Jakarta.
• Willing to travel to project or operational sites as required.
