PT Borneo Alumina Indonesia (PT BAI) adalah sebuah perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang pertambangan dan pengolahan mineral, khususnya bauksit, menjadi produk turunannya yang bernilai tambah tinggi. Perusahaan ini merupakan anak perusahaan dari dua Badan Usaha Milik Negara (BUMN) besar di Indonesia, yaitu PT Indonesia Asahan Aluminium (Persero) atau INALUM dan PT Aneka Tambang Tbk atau ANTAM.

Tujuan utama dari pendirian PT BAI adalah untuk meningkatkan nilai tambah dari sumber daya alam Indonesia, khususnya bauksit yang melimpah di wilayah Kalimantan Barat. Dengan membangun Smelter Grade Alumina Refinery (SGAR) atau pabrik pengolahan bauksit menjadi alumina, PT BAI berkontribusi pada pengembangan industri dalam negeri dan mengurangi ketergantungan pada impor produk alumina.

Proses produksi di PT BAI melibatkan pengolahan bijih bauksit menjadi alumina melalui serangkaian proses kimia yang kompleks. Alumina yang dihasilkan kemudian dapat digunakan sebagai bahan baku dalam berbagai industri, seperti industri logam, keramik, dan kimia. Dengan kapasitas produksi yang besar, PT BAI memiliki potensi untuk menjadi salah satu produsen alumina terbesar di dunia.

HVAC Engineer Superintendent

Responsibilities :

• Oversee the installation, operation, and maintenance of HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance in all company facilities.
• Lead, manage, and develop a team of HVAC technicians and engineers. Ensure that team members are trained, skilled, and adhere to safety standards.
• Plan and implement preventative maintenance schedules for HVAC equipment, as well as troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to HVAC systems.
• Monitor HVAC system performance and identify opportunities to optimize efficiency, reduce energy consumption, and improve system reliability.
• Ensure that HVAC systems comply with all relevant local and international regulations, including safety standards, environmental laws, and building codes.
• Manage the HVAC maintenance budget, ensuring cost-effective operations while maintaining high-quality service levels.
• Oversee the planning and execution of HVAC-related projects, including system upgrades, new installations, and any necessary renovations.
• Prepare regular reports on HVAC system performance, maintenance activities, and energy consumption. Present findings and improvement suggestions to senior management.
• Work closely with other departments, such as construction, maintenance, and facilities management, to ensure HVAC systems meet the needs of the organization.

Requirement :

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in HVAC management or a related role, with a strong background in supervising HVAC operations.
• In-depth knowledge of HVAC systems, installation processes, maintenance practices, and troubleshooting.
• Proven experience in managing HVAC projects and teams, ensuring quality and safety standards are met.
• Strong understanding of HVAC regulations and compliance requirements.
• Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to effectively manage teams and resources.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to report effectively to senior management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and HVAC-related software.
• Knowledge of energy management and optimization techniques for HVAC systems.

Raw Material Grinding Superintendent

Responsibilities ;

• Lead and oversee the entire raw material grinding process to ensure quality and quantity meet the established standards.
• Lead and provide guidance to the operational team in the grinding area, as well as develop team competencies through training and regular evaluations.
• Analyze and evaluate the efficiency of the grinding process, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.
• Ensure that the ground raw materials meet the company’s quality standards and specifications.
• Coordinate the maintenance and repair of grinding machines, and work closely with the technical team to ensure equipment is in optimal condition.
• Ensure all operations are conducted in compliance with the company’s safety standards and procedures.
• Prepare regular operational performance reports and present analysis and improvement recommendations to management.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as procurement, quality control, and maintenance, to ensure smooth production operations.

Requirement :

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in a similar or related role within a relevant industry (e.g., cement, materials, or manufacturing).
• In-depth knowledge of raw material grinding processes and quality control management.
• Proven experience in leading operational teams and handling technical issues.
• Strong ability to analyze production data and generate effective reports.
• Familiarity with production management systems or relevant software.
• Strong leadership skills with excellent communication abilities.
• Ability to identify and solve operational problems quickly and efficiently.
• High analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure and in a dynamic work environment.
• Capable of working independently as well as part of a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and related software.
• Proficiency in both Indonesian and English (oral and written) is a plus.
